March StrideBox!

My nephew definitely enjoyed one of last month's samples!
My nephew definitely enjoyed one of last month’s samples!

Last month I was super excited to receive my first StrideBox, but was a little disappointed in the sample selection.  I did not like three of the food items that I tried (GU Chomps, Honey Stinger Organic Energy Gel, and Mazamba Bar).  I tried Dr. Hoy’s Natural Pain Relief Gel, but it was not as strong as I hoped it to be.  I have yet to try the On the Go Towels (For Men) or the Skratch Labs Hydration Mix.  Will try to get to those this month!

This month’s box was filled with items that I have never tried before, but many of the items were familiar to me.  Here are the samples for this month!

-Given – Original FLIP pocket wrist wallet

Fits my forearm better than my wrist.

-PowerICE – It is similar to a go-gurt package and you are supposed to freeze these and eat 15-30 minutes before exercise.  I may wait until the summer time to try these out!

-Picky Bar – It is gluten and dairy free!

-Click – Espresso Protein Drink – Can be mixed with hot or cold water or made into a smoothie!

-Kind Bar – I love these bars!!  They are very expensive though.

-GU – Peanut Butter flavor – I am excited to try this flavor!  Hope it tastes like peanut butter out of a jar….

-Run Guard – anti-chafing stick.  Always need to have one of these in every gym bag!

-Win Sports detergent – I have used Penguin sports detergent in the past so will try this on my next load of workout clothes!

This month’s “Stride Guide” on the items also gave retail prices for each item.  The total cost for all these items if I were to buy them on my own would be $27.54.  Let’s hope this month’s trials go better than last month’s!
